INSTALLATION KIT
Terminate, crimp, connect.
MC4 CONNECTOR TERMINATION KIT · EVERYTHING TO WIRE YOUR SYSTEM
Wire it yourself
One kit, every connection.
The ANEW Installation Kit is a complete MC4 connector termination kit — the connectors, cable and the tool to join them, in one box. It's how every ANEW generator, solar connector and storage hub gets wired together in the field: MC4-compatible male and female connectors, matched red and black PV cable, and a ratcheting crimp tool for a clean, repeatable, weatherproof termination every time.
MC4 is the standard the whole platform speaks — so the same kit terminates your sun, wind, water and storage runs, and drops straight into the MC4 quick-disconnects on every ANEW device.
The wire and the connectors were developed to last for decades: shells moulded from UV-stable engineering resins that don't go brittle or chalky in full sun, over a UV-stable, double-insulated cable jacket. The wiring is specified to match the targeted 50-year service life of the hardware it feeds.

What's in the Kit
Everything to make the connection.
Ratcheting Crimp Tool
A ratcheting crimper gives the same controlled, gas-tight crimp on every contact — no guesswork, no cold joints, whatever the conditions on site.
MC4 Connectors
Matched male and female MC4-compatible connectors, colour-coded red and black for polarity, with tin-plated copper contacts for a low-loss, corrosion-resistant join.
Red & Black PV Cable
Double-insulated, UV-stable PV cable on red and black spools — positive and negative, ready to cut to length and terminate.
Built for decades outdoors
The wiring should never be the part that fails.
A 50-year generator wired with 10-year parts is a 10-year system. So the wire and the connectors were developed to outlive the install.
UV-stable engineering resins
Ordinary plastic connector bodies chalk, yellow and crack after a few seasons of direct sun — and a cracked shell is a water path straight to the contacts. Every shell in this kit is moulded from UV-stable engineering resins: tough, dimensionally stable polymers with the UV inhibitors built into the material itself rather than sprayed on the surface.
They hold their shape and their seal through full tropical sun, driving rain, salt air, freeze-thaw and the daily heat cycle of a working DC run — for decades, not seasons. Mated, a pair seals to IP67 / IP68, and the latch takes a deliberate tool release, so nothing works loose in the wind.
Cable built to the same standard
The red and black spools are PV wire: finely stranded copper for flex life, under a double layer of insulation, under a UV-stable outer jacket rated for direct sunlight and open-air runs. It bends cold, resists abrasion where it crosses a bracket, and doesn't stiffen and split on a rooftop.
Terminated with the tin-plated copper contacts and the ratcheting crimper in the box, each joint is gas-tight and low-loss — the crimp that lasts, not the crimp that heats. The whole run is specified to match the targeted 50-year service life of the generators, storage and chargers it connects.

The kit is a micro-grid in a box: generation, storage, distribution, metering and the grid-tie hardware. One visit, and the site has continuous power instead of a fuel schedule. 24/7.
